ABOUT 

Sophie Hug, Dr. med. vet., Dip ECEIM

Since my graduation in 2006 I have been working as an equine vet. After completing my dissertation and working two years in private large animal practice, I spent a further 5 years at the Equine Internal Medicine Department of the University of Zurich to complete a residency programme with the European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM). I passed the board exams to become a diplomate in 2013. During this time I have gained a lot of experience and seen many interesting and challenging cases. Currently I also work as Equine Internal Medicine Specialist at the Tierklinik Stockrüti (Berg, TG).

It has always been my goal to take this knowledge also back out into field practice. As I am not only a swiss but also a british citizen I always enjoy meeting english speaking clients and their horses.
